Until today, and with the trend of the world industry, it has proposed various material solutions for carbon reduction, including biomass, renewable low-carbon materials. Using the methodology of circular economy to improve life cycle benefits and assist customer products to provide low-carbon solutions in the design of product recycling, reuse, and material reduction.In 2021, a green material strategic cooperation platform will be integrated. There are four main development scopes, including the bio-economy platform, the circular economy platform, the low-carbon economy platform, and the green economy platform inherited by Tex Year.[Green Economy Platform]The green economy platform is launched by green, safe and healthy. As long as the product development under this theme can be listed as the development direction of the green economy platform, such as: solvent-free water-based adhesive and hot melt adhesive, reduce health hazards and environmental protection impact; another example is the halogen-free flame-resistant hot melt adhesive, which not only increases the safety of the customer's products, but also reduces the final disposal of the product. A healthier manufacturing environment for the operator.[Low-Carbon Economy Platform]The low-carbon economy platform is the most important sustainable demand recently. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is directly linked to the global temperature and has a huge impact on climate change. Therefore, carbon reduction is the general trend, and the goals of various countries are also announced in these two years. They have successively proposed, and in turn, major global brands have also formulated their carbon reduction strategies and acted as pioneers in carbon reduction. Tex Year is no exception, the projects on the low-carbon economy platform list solutions that directly provide low-carbon: including lower energy It can also replace the adhesive tape, reduce the use of resources, and assist customers to achieve low-carbon industry 4.0 lights-out factories; low-temperature operation of hot-melt adhesives can reduce energy consumption when customers use it; there are also low-carbon bio-based hot melt adhesives, providing customers with products with a lower carbon footprint.[Circular Economy Platform]Circular economy platform, the simplest appeal is to assist customers in the design of products that can be reused in the life cycle of their products, or the materials of their products can be recycled and reused, or the design of reducing the use of product materials. In order to realize the value experience of customers, the research and development of materials in Tex Year has three important directions. First, it is easy to disassemble: mainly to assist customers after pasting and assembling, if they need to be recycled or reused, they can use different processes, allow customers to easily disassemble product components. For example, when recycling plastic containers, Tex Year provides clean recycling hot melt adhesives, or provides mechanically disassembling UV adhesives when laminating electronic components. Secondly, homogeneous recycling: mainly to assist customers when recycling its product materials, it does not need to be disassembled; and at the same time, it is recycled with its materials. For example, in the use of mattresses, hot melt adhesives of the same material as non-woven fabrics are provided. Third, reducing the amount of material used, whether it is to reduce the density of the product and provide the same viscosity, can reduce the amount of adhesive used by customers, such as providing the same viscosity. A low-density PO-based hot melt adhesive.[Bio-Economy Platform]The bio-economy platform has two important research and development directions, one is biodegradation and the other is bio-based. In order to win the trust of customers, Tex Year sent biodegradable and bio-based hot melt adhesives to the third certification unit for testing, and obtained the German DIN compostable and bio-based marks as follows: compostable mark, 20%~50%, 50% %~85%, more than 85% bio-based label. In fact, after testing, our hot melt adhesives have bio-based content as high as 68% and 92%.
