Sneakers for athletes are designed with specific features to enhance performance, provide comfort, and prevent injuries.

3. Clean recycle labelling to reduce waste

Paris 2024 aims to significantly reduce waste through comprehensive recycling and composting programs. Single-use plastics will be minimized, and efforts will be made to promote reusable and recyclable materials. Especially plastic bottle recycling, needs to be shred, washed, melted and then remade to be successfully recycled. 5. Cardboard bed assembly for Olympic Village

The Olympic Village will house about 3,000 apartments containing a total of 14,250 beds made with recyclable materials similar to the ones used in Tokyo. The mattresses were manufactured with reused materials and their firmness can be adjusted by flipping them over. Stools were made with cardboard meaning they can be easily recycled after the Olympics. 6. Low-carbon woodworking construction for Olympic Village

For example, the Olympic Village will be built with a focus on energy efficiency and will be repurposed for housing after the Games.
